Project Proposal
Description
MaCaCo (Mathematical Calculations Core) is a numerical analysis library written in C++ with an XML messaging based interface. It uses a daemon in order to attend requests and serve solutions to the submitted problems.
The main platform which MaCaCo is developed for is GNU/Linux. Debian GNU/Linux is the selected distro over 32 bits processors at first, but we hope to get a 64 bits computer, to take advantage of this powerful processors.
MaCaCo will be developed using open standars in order to run in UNIX-like OSes and also in those OS which can emulate POSIX and we can use the open source software used to develop MaCaCo.
