Project Proposal
Porting FreeBSD to the OSW should be relatively easy (but harder than porting FreeBSD to the EFIKA) and very useful. FreeBSD/ppc currently only supports apple hardware and non-64bit capable processors, but with a bit of work, these limitations can be removed.
Once FreeBSD boots, it will also be possible to add SMP support.
