Project Proposal
I\'m the GeeXboX embedded multimedia Linux distribution project leader and I\'d like to use this computer mainly for porting purpose to help out my team.
At current stage, GeeXboX support for PowerPC is fairly experimental due to the lack of hardware and it seems to only work on G3/G4 CPUs. Having such a machine would help us having a complete support of the PowerPC architecture.
It\'ll also be used by the development team as a compile farm and to help supporting new codecs/demuxers and to extend AltiVec instructions optimizations.
