Project Proposal
The primary goal of this project would be to bring the best of both worlds to the PPC in the form of blender3d (found at www.blender3d.org). By adding further extensions (Altivec/ppc/SIMD) to the experimental builds blender3d artists will be able to leverage the raw power of the platform to solve and simulate massive worlds often found in computer graphics. As well as this it would allow the artist to simulate complex physical interactions between entities in a timely manner unlike what is present at the moment.
