Project Proposal
The idea is to use OSW as a security DVR.
It can support as many cameras as could be plugged in. Though it has 4 processor cores and altivec support it might be very fast. Also it can support EFIKA based DVRs and receive the video from them.
SW needed:
1)Linux
2)DVR software
HW needed:
1) videocapturing cards
2) OSW
3) videocard
4) networking
