Project Proposal
I have experience with different software (multimedia related mostly) and I\'m not new to altivec.
I\'d use this system to test and improve SIMD optimization in software widely used like ffmpeg, mplayer and in other not yet widely used but promising as technology showcases like evas and related applications.
As Gentoo developer I\'d also use the system to mantain and improve the distribution as the others in the Gentoo/PPC and Gentoo/PPC64 that already applied. My fields are mostly multimedia, core system/toolchain.
