	Why this? posted by John Kocurek on 6th March 2009 A friend of mine knows a kid who is now a quadriplegic. Investigating what is available for people in his position reveals there isn't much out there. While Vista with the Speech Macros helps, it is still limited. Upon reviewing the available assists, it strikes me that a device which monitors eye position and movements, and appears to a computer as a mouse, would be a easy to integrate device. Add a setup utility to configure the device to round out the required software. The LMX515 seems well suited to the task, with the image manipulation hardware and the built in camera interface along with the USB interfaces, completes the package.
