Project Proposal
We are currently running a testbed of wireless sensor nodes (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_sensor_network) at our university to test out various applications. A collection of our nodes are connected to an NSLU2, which is used to gather various bits of data, filter through it, and then hand it off to a desktop PC for further analysis. However, the NSLU2 is proving to be simply too slow for the level of data processing that we want them to do, and we\'re looking at new hardware options, one of which could be the ekifa. We would like to get hold of an ekifa so we can evaluate what can be done with it and whether we should recommend that the wider community moves towards using them.
