Project Summary
The project goals are:
Design an interface card pci - multiple minipci slots with a pci-pci bridge chip.
Write or select a linux driver for the card.
Design minipci cards for interface RS-485 and CAN buses with Ethernet to perform Modbus/TCP - Modbus RTU gateways.
Finnaly, port modbus protocol and other industrial standards to Linux.

 pci-mini pci adapter

I'm going to install a pci to mini pci adapter with a bridge chip into the Efika board. I received my board yesterday so I will tell you the results.
The adapter is a routerboard 14 which I bought for other project. With a pci riser the adapter doesn't fit so one more reason to develop a custom adapter.
