Project Summary
The media streaming group[1] is thinking about having a workalike of the Roku Soundbridge[2] Streaming appliance using opensource technology.
Both server and client side hardware could be covered by efika boards

The system is up and running a uclibc image with lighttpd and the old streaming server, much of the development now is towards the new streaming server that will provide additional features.
The evaluation of uclibc proven that it isn't suitable for gtk+ in its current state because of the glib dependency on iconv that cannot be cleanly satisfied, a glibc image will be used instead to test the graphics capabilities (more on the project proposal for XGI)
