I've finally finished 4-bit IMA ADPCM decoder. I've found via profiling, that there is no point in making special cases for mono and stereo, multichannel routine is almost as fast, as special variants. I've fixed buffer overflow (some trivial bug, as usual...). I've also removed some assembler "optimized" code, good written C code turned out to be faster (and more portable). Now I can take a look at 3-bit mode.
