	IMA ADPCM finally decoded posted by Grzegorz Kraszewski on 7th January 2007 After long time of tests and tries I've finally found the problem with IMA-ADPCM. It turned out that when I load compressed 4-bit samples, I have to swap nibbles in every byte. It is a surprise, as it is not documented anywhere, and I haven't found nibble swapping in any available decoder source. Anyway it works. I'm going now to get more sample files encoded with different applications to verify my discovery. Meanwhile I've got two Efikas. One of them will soon host teleinfo.pb.edu.pl website and other Internet services. It will be done to promote low power, small solutions for ligthly loaded servers. Now the server is an old, ordinary PC with Pentium 3 @ 550 MHz and 128 MB RAM. I think Efika can replace it succesfully. The Efika is now equipped with HDD, fanless PSU, it has Debian installed and is available to me via SSH connection. I will continue to install needed applications and move user accounts and databases from the old server. When everything will be ready I will switch machines.
