	Some words after a long break posted by Grzegorz Kraszewski on 17th October 2006 Yes, I know, I've been not writing here for a long time. It does not mean Reggae was stopped or abandoned. I've completed research on audio FIR filters, I have 32-bit floating point one (up to 2.5 Gtaps per second) and 16-bit integer one (up to 6.0 Gtaps per second). These achievements have been described in two scientific papers published on international conferences: Fast FIR Filters for SIMD Processors With Limited Memory Bandwidth Performance Analysis of Alternative Structures for 16-bit Integer FIR Filter Implemented on AltiVec SIMD Processing Unit Then I've started to write the Ph. D. thesis paper just last week. In the meantime I'm turning my interest to resampling filters, for example Frequency Response Masking ones. And of course I'm still waiting for my Efika :-)
