Project Summary
The air-pollution smog monitoring project is based on the EFIKA and Linux (Ubuntu/Gentoo) operating system in which the EFIKA works as the \"brain\" in a distributed wireless sensor mesh network to monitor air quality throughout a city. A centralized panel shows the various sensors throughout the city and what the quality of air is within a specific time period. The EFIKA can send alerts and display statistics when the air quality falls below a specific threshold - as well as run diagnostic programs when a sensor is unreachable for some reason....
