Project Proposal
T2 is a System Development Environment (SDE - http://t2-project.org) which allows automated cross compiler bootstrapping and compilation of all the source packages such as kernel (Linux right now but more to come), C libraries, graphic systems. It already has support for PowerPC and runs on all Apple systems such as G3, G4 and G5 as well as IBM servers. Support for the ODW would of course fill a gap left by A??le nicely. Many T2 developers are also actively contributing to other projects such as X.org, the Linux kernel C libraries and so on so the changes would spread back to the original projects.
