Project Proposal
A SuperComputer configured and optimized for performing a wide range of FEM-based (Finite Element Method) simulations such as:
- FEA - Finite Element Analysis. For making sure that the objects/mechanisms you invent are strong, safe, mechanically efficient and economical to manufacture.
- CFD - Computational Fluid Dynamics. So your vehicular inventions won\'t turn out to be a drag. :)
- Electromagnetic Modeling - Design the perfect generator, motor or antenna.
- And lots more...
Also, a job submission interface will be implemented to permit simulation jobs to be submitted directly from within engineering applications (CAD, etc...) that run on workstations produced by my \"CAD/CAM/CAE & EDA Workstation\" project (which is based on the OSW).
Job management and tracking as well as strong access control features will also be implemented to protect the supercomputer from being misused, and also to enable the owner to rent-out time on it.
