Project Proposal
OSSIE is an open source implementation of the Software Communication Architecture (SCA). The SCA is a framework for developing Software Defined Radios (SDR). OSSIE runs on x86 and ARM based machines. This project will add support to OSSIE for PPC based machines and enable researchers to develop high performance waveforms based on dual core PPC/altivec processors.
