Project Proposal
I wish to use a PPC plataform to develop GRUB2, Mac On Linux and Debian Installer since those needs more love from development side.
- GRUB2 has initial support for PPC and we wish to switch to it after Debian 4.0 is release. That means integrate it better on Debian Installer and a lot of testing for our group of users;
- Mac On Linux has just few people inside of Debian working on it and then we need to make it integrate better with the system. There\'s some effort to make it to be always up to date with upstream releases and bugfixes;
- Debian Installer has been having some problems on PPC architecture and I\'m lacking the need hardware to work on it.
